Zusha, a Folk/World-Soul band made up of three FOX-labeled "neo-Hasidic hipsters," was formed in the East Village of New York City by three friends creating meditative prayerful melodies. Borrowing lines from ancient liturgy, Zusha’s music is a blend of folk, jazz, reggae, ska, gypsy swing, and traditional Jewish soul. The result is a dynamic sound that is at times raw & rustic and at times gentle & poignant, while at other times you just can’t help but get up and dance - The Times of Israel called Zusha "Wordless melodies to soothe the soul."
