New York City trio Zusha bring a unique slant to their hybrid world/folk/soul music, imbuing it with sounds from their Hasidic background. They infuse their music with a style called neegoon, which they describe as a “wordless melody [that] seeks to inspire people of all backgrounds and faiths to live with intention, meaning, and love.”

A relatively new band, formed less than three years ago, the group has already ascended to the Billboard World Music Top 10 with their debut EP in 2014. That led them to dates along the east coast, in major cities like San Francisco and Chicago and in Jerusalem, as well as the Shir Madness Jewish Music Festival in Melbourne, Australia.

Now, with their debut full-length album Kavana just hitting the streets, they’re expanding their reach to new markets — like Cleveland. They’ll be performing at the Beachland Tavern. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
